Sorry its taken awhile to get an update sent out, but here is an update for upcoming weather. The remainder of Friday, and Saturday will bring a big warm up as southern winds transport gulf moisture northward. This sets the stage for a rainy and stormy cold front to pass through Sunday evening. Significantly colder air will push through and bring temps near freezing each night for the first couple of days next week. There is a very small chance of a wet snow mixing with rain Tuesday night thru Wednesday morning. After that, temps will remain at or below normal for the next 7 days.

Saturday will warm up some more, highs in the low 70s, lows in the upper 50s, with south winds around 10-15mph. Humidity will increase throughout the day.

Sunday brings rain chances with isolated thunderstorms possible. Severe weather is not anticipated at this time, but an isolated strong storm could occur. Around 1 inch of precipitation is forecast for Sunday. The rain event will happen mostly in the afternoon through evening hours.
Rain chances continue but decrease throughout the day on Monday. Substantially lower temps will reach us however, so keep out the jackets. Highs are forecast around 52, lows right at 32.
Tuesday has very similar temperatures, but the evening brings the chance of a wintery mix of precipitation. Thankfully no ice/slush/snow accumulation is expected as surface temps will be above freezing. The wintery mix will fall as a rain/snow combo, then melt as it hits the ground. The chances of this happening are still quite low and not mentioned in official forecasts yet. I will send updates on this as needed.
Wednesday and beyond is forecast to be chilly with only partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 50s, lows in the mid 30s, but no precipitation or any other significant weather is forecast thru next Thursday at this time.
No severe weather, flooding, or ice/snow accumulation is expected for the next 7 days.
