Rain likely Wednesday night and Thursday for DFW

The National Weather Service is forecasting at least two rounds of showers and thunderstorms beginning Wednesday night, spanning through Thursday. Currently some isolated storms have popped up along a trough of low pressure located just a few miles southeast of Frisco. This area of rain is moving to the northeast and likely wont impact Frisco. Monday rain update for the metroplex

The widespread rainfall will continue intermittently for the remainder of the day and into Tuesday at least. Several reports of waterspouts have been submitted to the National Weather Service in Ruskin today, including one in Old Tampa Bay. The waterspout in Old Tampa Bay is the storm that prompted the tornado warning earlier, no damage has been reported at this time. Rainy and stormy day around the metroplex as a stationary front drifts around north Texas.  The rains are likely to continue for a healthy portion of the day as well. Picture below I took out the window at work here, during a heavy thunderstorm.
